Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has released the notification of IBPS RRB on its official website ibps.in on June 30. The notification has been announced in the form of PDF through which the authorities have announced the recruitment of Office Assistants and Officer Scale I, II, and III. As per the notification PDF, candidates can fill the application form from July 1, 2020. The last date to fill the application form and pay the application fee is July 21, 2020. The authorities have also extended the earlier scheduled date of the exam. As per the new schedule, the test will be held tentatively in September/October 2020 for the prelims stage.

Who all can apply for IBPS RRB ?

 

Candidates must meet the eligibility criteria on the basis of age and education qualification before filling the application form. The eligibility criteria for each post on the basis of age must be as follows.

 

IBPS RRB Age Limit as on July 1, 2020

  • Officer Scale- I (Assistant Manager) - 18 to 30 years of age

  • Officer Scale- II (Manager) - 21 to 32 years of age

  • Officer Scale- III (Senior Manager) - 21 to 40 years of age

  • Office Assistant (Multipurpose) - 18 to 28 years of age

However, there are certain age relaxations provided to the reserved category candidates.

 

Education Requirements

 

Candidates must hold a graduation degree along with various other specialised qualifications as per the post applied. Candidates are thus advised to go through the notification PDF.

 

How to apply for IBPS RRB

The application form must be filled in online mode along with the payment of the application fee. To fill the application form, candidates must ensure to have a valid email ID, mobile number, bank details, scanned copy of photo and signature in prescribed specifications. Candidates must further:

  • Visit the official website

  • Click on the IBPS RRB application form link

  • The link will take you to a login window

  • Select ‘Click here for new registration’

  • Enter the required details and submit (a login credential will be generated)

  • Login again using the login credential generated earlier

  • Fill the details (personal details, education details)

  • Upload photo and signature (4.5cm × 3.5cm)

  • Pay application fee {Rs 600 (general and OBC) and Rs 100 (SC/ST/PWD)}

  • Submit

New Guideline For IBPS RRB 2020 In the wake of COVID19

  • Candidates will have to carry Mask (compulsory to wear), Gloves, Personal transparent water bottle, hand sanitizer (50 ml), pen, call letter/ and original ID Card
  • Candidates having moderate or high risk status on Aarogya Setu will not be allowed entry.
  • In case any of the responses in declaration suggest COVID 19 infection/symptoms, the candidate will not be permitted in exam centre
  • After Aarogya Setu status display at the entry gate, candidates will have to deposit their phones
  • All candidates will have to go through the Thermo guns at the entry point for temperature
  • In case, any candidates has a temperature above normal (> 99.14° F) or display any symptoms of the virus, they will not be allowed entry into the venue

About IBPS RRB exam

This year IBPS RRB exam is scheduled to be held in September/October for Officer Scale I and Office Assistants while the Single exam for Officer Scale-II and III is scheduled in October/November. The test is held in an online mode wherein a single exam is held for Scale II and III posts. For Officer Scale I and Office Assistants, the test is held in three stages - prelims, Mains and Interview. Candidates who will qualify in the recruitment exam will be posted at 45 different Rural Banks across India.
